Les tontons flingueurs is evidently one the most if not the most famous French movie. It’s a very French comedy about an former-gangster who gets caught back by it’s past. The godfather of his former organization had designated him to take over him right before his death. Most of the lines written by the great Michel Audiard became cult. It became through the years more and more a classic in French cinema as it was showed on TV. It now is programmed almost thrice a year on TV.
